FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  /  FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
PRESERVED PLANTS?

Though plant preservation techniques have existed for more than 25 years, expansion with patents for large-scale industrial production of preserved plants emerged in Europe. To begin the preservation process, Plants and Flower Foliage are harvested at their peak to attain maximum vibrancy. Once harvested, a non-toxic, plant-based, and biodegradable preservation liquid is used to replace the plant sap that allows capturing the fresh-cut state of the foliage providing timeless beauty.

WHERE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND HAVING A PHYTOWALL INSTALLATION?

Preserved Plants are for indoor use only where the temperature should be between +5C to +28С with the humidity not less than 40%. The unique characteristics of our wall gardens, the wide variety of plant species available for preservation, and the expertise and artistry of our design team make Phytowall suitable for a wide variety of applications including but not limited to Workplace, Hospitality, Retail, Healthcare, Transportation & Aviation, Sports & Recreation, Academic & Education, Residential and Senior Living.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LIVING WALL AND A PHYTOWALL INSTALLATION?

Traditional living walls require irrigation, specific light conditions, trimming, and regular maintenance; moreover, they are subject to soil and insect infestations, and, in some cases, can even cause serious property damage. In short, living wall gardens, though certainly beautiful, can bring higher costs and a higher carbon footprint. Preserved plants, on the other hand, are both maintenance and hassle free.

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLES?

Yes. We are happy to provide you with samples so that you can see first hand the quality of our products as well as evaluate the appropriateness of the plant variety for your project.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAD TIME?

Our products traditionally take 2 to 8 weeks to produce depending on the quantity and size of the order. However, we understand that clients have deadlines and we can usually accommodate most time frames.
